Objective:

The primary goal of this project was to preserve and protect Moldova’s cultural and historical heritage by restoring the National History Museum in Chișinău, a landmark institution that houses a vast collection of artifacts reflecting the country’s rich history.

Work Performed:

The rehabilitation work focused on replacing the old, deteriorated roof with a new titanium zinc roof, known for its durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions. The roofing material was carefully selected to maintain the building’s historic character while ensuring long-term protection. In addition to the roof restoration, drainage systems were improved to prevent water damage, and the façade was cleaned and reinforced to preserve the building’s original architecture.

Result & Conclusion:

The National History Museum emerged from the rehabilitation project as a modern cultural institution that now offers optimal conditions for preserving valuable historical artifacts. The new roof ensures long-term protection from environmental damage, creating a safe environment for exhibits and visitors alike. The museum has since increased its visitor numbers and enhanced its role as an educational and cultural hub in the community. This project demonstrates our company's commitment to preserving national heritage and contributing to the development of cultural infrastructure in Moldova.
